Join the Cape Town Museum in collaboration with Cape Medical Museum for a Heritage Day event to celebrate African traditional medicine.

Invited speakers will talk about the importance of medicinal plants and the ailments that they are used for. With the theme “Our Medicine, Our Heritage, Our Way of Life”, the discussions will invite visitors to appreciate this important practice that is shared across many cultures, and inspire them to keep their own medicinal plants and gardens in their homes or communities.
